Sedona Trip

Ben and I decided to take a very RANDOM trip to Sedona. Random as in I was sitting in my craft room on Thursday night and was really bored and I knew that Ben had Friday-Sunday off which never happends. So I decided to Priceline a random hotel in Sedona for the weekend, got a smokin' deal, walked into the bedroom where Ben sat and handed him the paper and he said "sweet. when we goin?" and I said "tomorrow morning so u better start packing." It was pretty dang sweet.

We both had never been there. And we both definitely needed some time away from home for some R&R. We had absolutely no idea what we were going to do there but it didn't matter, we were basically stoked.

So for Friday we got there, ordered pizza, rented "how to train a dragon," and just soaked in the 'doing absolutely nothing' on the Sleep Number beds in the room. That was basically what I had had in mind when booking this trip.

The next morning we decided to search around town for a cute little cafe for lunch and Ben decides on some place called "The Red Planet" diner that is UFO themed. Awesome decor, food was the bomb. A+ Benny boy.

Look how much she loves her Daddy, I mean you can just see it in her eyes. She also thought those things looked like floaties The last one is my first Turkey burger, it was AMAZING not sure why I never tried one before...

So we saw a little flyer on the counter that looked kinda touristy and found that the Elementary school was putting on a fundraiser Carnival and it ROCKED.

The pic above was a game where you pumped and pumped until the baloon popped... u can probably imagine how quickly our 2 year old accomplished this. The next pic is of Ry with her Sedona boyfriend Kyle. They met at the diner and found eachother again at the Carnival. How cute is that?

This was the archeological dig game. The girls were NOT happy when they dug up skeletons and bones....they screamed and ran...im not sure why people thought little kids would enjoy that. However they got to pick candy for all the bones they found. AWESOME night. There was a ferris wheel, rock wall climbing and a bungee jump thingy. Ryleigh kept asking the guy to jump her higher...then she did a back-flip. I have a daredevil child.

The next day we went to the Oak Creek Trail. It was gorgeous and just what we needed (despite my tailbone being a little sore...if u dont kno what im talking about just know i broke it last week; refer to facebook for details)

amazing.perfect.blessed.restful.blissful weekend.
PEACE LOVE AND SEDONA
